Background

We have worked with our client since 2020, who is currently engaged in the Ichthys Phase 2 project at the McDermott Yard in Batam, Indonesia. This project involves the fabrication of the compression module and the expansion of subsea facilities.

The Client's Challenge

Our client does not have a presence in Batam; establishing a local business entity is a lengthy and complex process. To support their employees during their assignment in Batam, they therefore require assistance from a third-party provider with work permit and business visa applications, payroll management, accommodation, and other ad-hoc services. To manage the project effectively, the client sought a local partner to support with these matters.

  • Successfully mobilised over 35 expatriate workers.
  • Sourced and mobilised 15 local contractors.
  • Obtained 12 dependent visas and arranged schooling for dependents.
  • Facilitated the issue of 120+ business visas, with a 100% completion rate.

We now manage more than 20 residential properties for the client, including hotels, long-stay apartments, villas, and transportation services.
