Position Responsibilities
• Perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to book, ensure month-end journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Performing accurate and high quality of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities for the finance not only in Taiwan, but also other related companies in different countries.
• Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules and worksheets, including "Budget/Forecast vs. Actual" variance reports.
• Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance in accounting and prepare all audit requests for internal and external auditors.
• Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team.
• Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.
• Build and improve key processes and work on ad hoc projects to help leaders best allocate their resources in a rapidly changing environment.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of industry and manufacturing experience or accounting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree is a plus.
• Oracle experience is a plus.
• Communication and Language skills - Organized communication skills in both English and Mandarin and both in reading and writing.
• Customer service skills - Ability to promptly and effectively communicate with other department/vendors to achieve win/win scenarios.
• Computer skills - Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook for use in customer communication.
