Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fortnightly payment runs and monitor aged AP.
- Support supply chain and sales teams with vendor and customer onboarding.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and key balance sheet accounts.
- Analyse financial data to ensure accurate and timely month‑end reporting.
- Prepare audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist with half‑year and annual reporting requirements.
- Maintain accuracy, integrity, and completeness of the general ledger.
- Identify opportunities to optimise accounting processes and enhance internal controls.
- Partner with operational departments to provide financial insights supporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Progress toward CA or CPA accreditation.
- Experience in a similar accounting role within a commercial or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with accounting software; SAP exposure viewed favourably.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
