Duration - 12 months
Working pattern - 37.5 hours per week (3 days in the office / 2 days WFH, once training is complete)
Qualification required - ICAEW/ICAS/CIMA/ACCA Qualification
NES Fircroft are supporting a key OFS client in Aberdeen, with the above temporary role, which will have a focus on supporting the Non-Omega Ledgers. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of financial information from multiple ledgers to various stakeholders.
Within the role, your focus will be to take ownership of the accurate and timely financial reporting for assigned ledgers. This includes maintaining a fully reconciled balance sheet and fulfilling all SOX reporting obligations associated with these ledgers.
The role requires strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills to ensure key reporting deadlines are consistently met. You will also communicate regularly with colleagues around the world, making effective communication and collaboration essential to success in the position.

Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit the monthly income statement and fully reconciled balance sheet for assigned UK ledgers
- Prepare and submit monthly & quarterly SOX compliance documentation for assigned UK ledgers
- Prepare and submit annual statutory audit packs to the Statutory Reporting team within required deadlines
- Prepare monthly VAT returns for assigned UK ledgers
- Review and approve payments in accordance with established controls and approval requirements
- Provide financial information and analysis in response to ad-hoc requests
- Participate in relevant finance and business projects as required
- Take ownership of the accurate and timely financial reporting for assigned UK ledgers, ensuring reporting deadlines and control requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain appropriate supporting documentation and financial controls
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are appropriately reconciled, reviewed, and supported, with outstanding items investigated and resolved in a timely manner
