Duration: 12 months
Work Hours: 40 hours/week
Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Analyst will support the accurate and timely processing of invoices and utility payments. This entry-level role involves validating invoices, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with general AP tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Analyst will support the accurate and timely processing of invoices and utility payments. Key Responsibilities
- Process and validate invoices (PO and non-PO) accurately and on time.
- Assist with coding and processing utility statements.
- Follow up on invoice exceptions and support issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in daily team huddles and maintain performance standards.
- Support additional AP tasks as needed (e.g., mail review).
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (training provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or administrative support (5 years minimum).
- Oil & Gas industry exposure is a plus.
