Job Title- Accounts Payable Processor -Entry Level
Pay rate- $15-19/hour
Location-San Antonio, Texas
Duration- 6 months 

Overview-
  • The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting financial audits. This role requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently with high-volume transactions while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Manage and process all invoices received for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
  • Handle high volumes of invoices by verifying transaction details, scheduling payments, and preparing disbursements
  • Obtain appropriate approvals for payments and maintain accurate accounting ledgers by validating and posting account transactions
  • Review and reconcile vendor accounts and monthly statements
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and unusual transactions through independent research
  • Address vendor-related inquiries and issues, maintaining professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain historical financial records by filing documents electronically and/or physically in accordance with company policies
  • Participate in financial audits and assist in resolving audit findings and discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls


Technical Skills & Qualification Requirements
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in accounts payable or similar accounting functions is an advantage
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data entry systems
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles related to payables
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
