Title: Administrative Assistant II
Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Contract Length: 2 years
Schedule: 5/2 Monday – Friday, 40 hr/week
Summary:
The administrative assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to a department or individual as needed.

Schedule: 5/2 Monday – Friday, 40 hr/week
Summary:
The administrative assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to a department or individual as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Filing
- Answering Phones
- Managing calendars/schedules
- Record keeping
- Coordinating meetings and conferences
- Ordering supplies as needed
- Sorting/distributing mail
- Working on special projects to include recording, compiling, retrieving, reporting and analyzing information.
- Training and mentoring other office staff
- Leading projects
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion
- 5+ years experience in a similar administrative role
- Customer service experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Industrial environments an asset
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and email systems
- Ability to work with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems to be addressed
