For our Client, global manufacturing company, we are currently recruiting for the position:

Advance Quality Engineer


Key responsibilities:

 
Project & Quality Governance
  • Provide quality governance across development and launch phases, ensuring project deliverables meet defined quality, customer, and regulatory criteria prior to release
  • Own assessment of project quality readiness at major milestones, including design freeze, validation completion, and production launch
Design, Validation & Risk Oversight
  • Review and challenge design robustness assumptions and validation results to confirm alignment with customer requirements and reliability objectives
  • Monitor quality and technical risks throughout development, with authority to escalate unacceptable risk conditions
  • Oversee identification and management of special characteristics to ensure alignment across design definition, validation activities, and manufacturing implementation
Failure Prevention & Knowledge Management
  • Govern FMEA quality and effectiveness, ensuring identified risks are tracked, mitigated, and validated prior to release
  • Lead systematic lessons learned and read‑across activities, ensuring historical issues are evaluated for applicability and prevention actions are embedded into future programs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing launch risk, repeat issues, and quality escapes
Launch & Production Readiness
  • Lead quality readiness evaluations for manufacturing launch, ensuring process maturity and product compliance before customer submission
  • Coordinate and support PPAP / PPA activities, confirming approval readiness, submission accuracy, and customer alignment
  • Support manufacturing sites during launch to monitor quality performance and ensure early containment and stability
Customer & Issue Management
  • Act as a quality escalation point for customers during development and launch phases
  • Lead structured problem‑solving methods (e.g., 8D, OPL) and if supporting, ensure methods are applied consistently and effectively to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
  • Verify closure and sustainability of corrective actions prior to final release or hand‑off to series production
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of quality management in a production plant (experience in the automotive or electronics industry is welcome)
  • Very good command of English
  • Knowledge of the quality requirements of the automotive industry and OEM customers
  • Practical knowledge of tools Control Plan, Flow Diagram, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, 8D, 5Why
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent work organization and problem solving skills
  • The ability to conduct audits (is welcome)
