Analytical Lab Technician II Locations: Kilgore, TX | Houma, LA | Broussard, LA | Minot, ND | Hobbs, NM | Shafter, CA

About the Role The Analytical Lab Technician II supports laboratory testing operations by performing routine and advanced chemical and physical analyses. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, log, and track samples using LIMS systems.
  • Perform data entry to maintain accurate sample records.
  • Conduct routine chemical, mechanical, and physical tests under general supervision.
  • Prepare samples and operate lab equipment such as ICP, IC, XRD, XRF, and handheld meters.
  • Assist technical staff with compiling, analyzing, and interpreting test results.
  • Complete testing tasks independently and participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Handle laboratory and hazardous waste (including lifting ~30 lbs).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry preferred (or relevant lab experience).
  • Strong understanding of laboratory testing techniques and safety procedures.
  • Experience using LIMS systems and advanced laboratory instrumentation.
  • Proficient PC skills, including spreadsheet creation and data reporting.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate, error-free work.
  • Dependable, punctual, and an effective team player.
