Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler / Gas Turbine Mechanic to join a workshop team.
This role is responsible for the assembly, disassembly, testing, troubleshooting, and visual inspection of aero equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using pneumatic and hydraulic tooling, excellent understanding of precision measuring instruments, and solid mechanical aptitude.
You will work within tight timelines and collaborate with a larger workshop team to meet delivery and quality commitments.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble aero components in accordance with work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on components and equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling—including ID/OD measuring equipment, depth micrometers, and calipers.
- Read, interpret, and work from complex and comprehensive mechanical and assembly drawings.
- Support modifications and workshop repairs as required.
- Work collaboratively with a large team to meet production schedules and delivery targets.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail under tight time constraints.
- Adhere to all workshop safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Open to candidates with a range of experience ~3 years up preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven experience in assembly or maintenance of mechanical components.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (ID/OD gauges, calipers, depth micrometers).
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic tooling.
- Ability to understand and interpret detailed engineering and assembly drawings.
- Prior experience in an aero, turbine, or rotating equipment environment is an asset.
