This contract role is responsible for supporting the selection, configuration, and implementation of a new ERP / finance system, replacing a legacy platform. The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure the selected solution is fit-for-purpose and successfully implemented within a broader program of concurrent initiatives.

Key Accountabilities
  • Contribute to the ERP product selection process, including requirements definition, vendor evaluation, and selection workshops
  • Translate business and finance requirements into system design and configuration inputs for the selected ERP solution
  • Lead process mapping (as-is / to-be) to support solution design and change impact assessment
  • Work hands-on with the implementation partner and internal teams during system configuration
  • Support data migration activities from the existing system
  • Define and execute testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, and UAT coordination
  • Support training preparation, knowledge transfer, and user readiness
  • Assist with go-live planning, cutover, and post-implementation support
  • Manage dependencies and impacts across multiple concurrent projects
Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience delivering ERP or finance system replacements, including product selection and implementation
  • Demonstrated hands-on involvement in system configuration, not purely documentation-focused roles
  • Experience transitioning from legacy finance systems 
  • Strong capability in business process mapping and translating operational needs into system outcomes
  • Comfortable working onsite and collaboratively within a medium-sized organisation
  • Able to operate effectively across overlapping initiatives and delivery timelines
