Note: This is a remote (WFH) position. Candidates must be able to commute to the Sugar Land ,TX office for a monthly meeting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and clarify technical and business requirements.
  • Translate requirements and user stories into functional, scalable solutions.
  • Design and develop secure, high-performance server-side services that are elastically scalable and support backward and forward compatibility.
  • Build responsive web front-end interfaces that function seamlessly across multiple devices and screen sizes.
  • Ensure applications are deployable, maintainable, and secure by default.
  • Apply usability best practices aligned with project, product line, and customer requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC / .NET development
  • High proficiency in C#
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end development practices
  • Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server and tools such as SSMS
  • Familiarity with Azure development and cloud-based deployments
  • Proven experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications
  • Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular
  • Exposure to Docker and containerized development environments
  • Experience working with Node.js and build tools such as Gulp
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio Code (VS Code) and .NET SDK (v8.0)
  • Experience with database tools such as DBeaver
  • Knowledge of reporting/analytics tools like Power BI
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and support modernization initiatives
