Reporting to the Manager, Category Management, you will provide specialist procurement advice, with a focus on mining services, while partnering with internal stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and procurement support to internal stakeholders and business leaders.
• Manage sourcing and tendering activities, including drafting, negotiating, and awarding contracts.
• Develop and implement contract management processes that maximise value and minimise risk.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to drive performance and value creation.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for allocated categories and projects.
• Negotiate high-value and complex commercial agreements.
• Support governance, compliance, and risk management initiatives across procurement activities.
• Analyse procurement data and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage priorities, and deliver business outcomes.

• Strong procurement and category management experience.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Commercial acumen and strong negotiation capabilities.
• Sound understanding of procurement governance, processes, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience within mining, resources, engineering, industrial services, or a similar asset-intensive environment is highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline are desirable.
