Cathodic Protection Engineer – Contract Position Location: Paris, France
Duration: 12 months
Status: Contract

Are you an experienced Cathodic Protection Engineer seeking a challenging opportunity within the Oil & Gas sector? This role offers the chance to leverage your expertise on high-profile projects, ensuring the integrity and longevity of critical infrastructure.

 
    Key Responsibilities
    • Review and analyze contract documents during proposal phases.
    • Provide client clarifications and draft qualifications.
    • Develop conceptual design philosophies for cathodic protection systems.
    • Estimate material quantities for FEED/EPC projects.
    • Prepare engineering documentation: design philosophies, material specifications, calculation notes, and site survey specifications.
    • Conduct technical bid evaluations, supplier inspections, and produce GA and schematic drawings.
    • Participate in site surveys and supervise construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
    Required Profile
    • Education: Master’s degree in Technical Sciences, specializing in cathodic protection.
    • Experience: Minimum 10 years in cathodic protection, with expertise in sacrificial anodes and impressed current systems for major onshore/offshore projects.
    • Certifications: Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) and BOSIET (OPITO + CA EBS).
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency with cathodic protection design and analysis tools.
    • Personal Attributes: Autonomous, rigorous, dynamic, and strong team player with excellent communication skills.
