Civil Engineer (Night Shift) - Substation Construction
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience , preferably in substation construction projects (132kV/220kV/400kV or similar utility projects).
- Experience in managing civil works execution, subcontractors, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Familiarity with UAE utility projects and client/consultant coordination is preferred.
- TAQA Competency as Civil Engineer
- Supervise and manage all civil construction activities during the night shift.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure safe and timely execution of works.
- Monitor progress against the approved schedule and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and permit requirements.
- Coordinate with the day shift team to ensure smooth work continuity and proper handover.
- Report daily progress, issues, resource requirements, and site constraints.
- Liaise with EDF/TAQA representatives, consultants, and project management as required.
- Ensure quality workmanship and immediate resolution of site execution issues.
