Our Client, a Global Oil and Gas Operator is seeking a Civil/Structural/Marine Inspection & Integrity Engineer for 15-month contract with potential to extend. This role will be sitting within the designs team. Reporting to the CSM Designs Team Lead, the role will be based in Perth with occasional site travel.

Duties and Responsibilties:
- The Civil/Structural/Marine (CSM) Inspection & Integrity Engineer is responsible for developing CSM asset strategies to ensure integrity management and inspection programs are executed with excellence for the Clients LNG facilities.
- Review inspection reports and approve anomalies, perform fitness-for-service assessments, raise corrective work orders and assign appropriate resolution timeframes commensurate with risk.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to site inspection execution teams.
- Provide direction to technical assistants in the efficient development of inspection workpacks.
- Support the planning & scheduling team in the development of efficient execution of inspection work.
- Collaborate with ENGINE to develop and progress any of these tasks in the most effective way.
- Visit site locations as required to support development and execution activities.
- Identify integrity threats & deficiencies, raising with Operations Assistants when required.
- Support deviation risk assessments as per the ABU Deviation Management Process.
- Develop and deliver appropriate resolution plans for site execution, to rectify any identified issues.
- Responsible for the development and delivery of fabric maintenance plans for site execution.
- Ensure inspection strategy execution aligns with Company and regulatory standards.
- Assist with minor works project scoping, engineering design and execution.
- Plan and execute improvement projects to the inspection program using new inspection technology.
- Participate in Competitive Performance initiatives.
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years relevant work-related experience
- Experience in Civil/Structural/Marine brownfields design
- Self-motivated, organized and high attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in developing inspection scopes, executing fitness for service assessment and developing resolution plans to rectify any identified issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in LNG / complex processing plant in similar role
- Practical and pragmatic approach to resolving anomalies
- Ability to manage frequently-changing priorities
