We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Discipline Engineer to join the owner's team on a major mining project, based in Perth CBD.
This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential for extension, supporting a major mining project through key phases of engineering and project delivery.

This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential for extension, supporting a major mining project through key phases of engineering and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight of earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations, concrete and structural steel designs.
- Review bulk earthworks strategies, site grading, cut/fill balances and platform development.
- Manage interfaces across process plant, power, water, roads and supporting infrastructure.
- Review structural steel, equipment support structures, foundations and materials handling infrastructure.
- Identify design risks, constructability issues and opportunities for optimisation.
- Coordinate technical reviews and respond to RFIs, technical queries and design review outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified Civil or Structural Engineer.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar project delivery role.
- Proven experience on large-scale mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong background in design review, technical assurance and contractor management.
- Experience with bulk earthworks and major infrastructure packages highly regarded.
- Previous exposure to EPC contractors, particularly Chinese EPC contractors, is advantageous.
