The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs and machining processes for new and existing products. This role focuses on CAD/CAM programming, process improvement, and shop-floor support to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and modify 3D models from engineering drawings

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical data, and GD&T

  • Design, implement, and improve CNC programs, tooling, and fixturing

  • Develop standardized and sustainable machining processes

  • Create G-code using GibbsCAM and NX CAM software

  • Support production by monitoring first articles, assisting with setups, tooling, and troubleshooting

  • Drive continuous improvement in machining methods, safety, quality, and delivery

  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with company policies

Qualifications
  • Expert-level experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering prints and GD&T

  • Proficient in speeds, feeds, tooling selection, and G/M code analysis

  • Experience improving machining processes and manufacturing workflows
