Job Description: Commercial Contract Analyst
Contract Length: 1 Year 
Positions: 1 Full-Time Contractor & 1 Part-Time Contractor
Location: Onsite (Office-Based)

Overview The Commercial Contract Analyst will support the Commercial Commodities Contracts team in executing the Legal Entity Optimization (LEO) program. This role is responsible for reviewing, drafting, and implementing LEO-related changes across a variety of commodity agreements. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Analyst will ensure contract readiness and accuracy in preparation for commercial go-live activities.

  • Administrative support related to contract management
  • Ongoing team support for contract activities
  • Assistance in negotiation processes and stakeholder communications
Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the Commercial Commodity Contracts team operates efficiently
  • Conduct scoping and analysis of crude oil, natural gas, NGL, and refined products purchase and sale agreements, including General Terms & Conditions and Master Agreements
  • Review and analyze credit support documentation such as parental guarantees
  • Create, update, revise, and track large datasets related to business stakeholder information
  • Support internal and external stakeholders through communication, coordination, and facilitation of timely execution of commodity-related agreements
  • Collaborate with Front Office and support functions (Credit, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Insurance, Customs, Risk Compliance) to review, negotiate, and amend commodities purchase and sale agreements

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Contract Analyst, Legal Administration, or similar role
  • Diploma in Legal Assistant Studies or Business Administration preferred
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts
  • Experience in contract execution, management, and retention
  • Strong understanding of legal contractual language
