Salary & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $87.00 per hour plus super
- Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)
- Roster: 2/1, 12-hour shifts – family-friendly FIFO schedule
- Fortnightly pay via modern online payroll system
- Dedicated NES Fircroft Consultant & Support Staff throughout your contract
- Invitations to NES Fircroft Contractor Events
- Opportunity for additional contracts with our extensive client base
About You
- Hold a WA Electrical Licence (or equivalent)
- Experienced in high-voltage commissioning and testing
- Safety-focused with CPR/LVR and White Card
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
The Job Role
- Commission and energise HV systems including switchgear, transformers, and protection relays
- Contribute to a flagship decarbonisation project in the mining sector
- Work alongside engineers and commissioning supervisors to deliver project milestones
- First priorities: safe energisation, accurate documentation, and compliance with AS/NZS standards
- Be part of a supportive team where training in HV switching is provided
