Commissioning System Lead Utility
 
Contract period: 01.05.2026 - 31.12.2027
Location: Stord

Main tasks:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning Utility Team and ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Company’s expectations
  • Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensure sufficient manning according to project needs
  • When required act as the site Commissioning Authority during the commissioning phases
  • Overall Utility System Responsibility, providing supervision, direction, and guidance with regards to:
  • Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimates associated with the commissioning scope for all Utility Systems
  • Contribute and advice related to Utility input to overall Completion strategy and planning
  • Manage contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for Utility Systems Commissioning
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Utility Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate Commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:
  • Witness contractor/supplier tests as necessary (FAT/SAT)
  • Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures
  • Implement the commissioning scope
  • Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations
  • As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet Company’s expectations
  • Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary
  • Establish completions and handover strategy and documentation early in all projects to support efficient commissioning and handover to operations at end of project
  • This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stord, then offshore at a later stage

Qualifications:
  • BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education/experience
  • Experience from offshore oil and gas production field is of great benefit
