What You’ll Bring
- Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive communications plans that keep communities informed and engaged
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting clear updates, notifications, and media content
- Experience managing community engagement activities such as events, info sessions, and site visits
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with local leaders, businesses, and community groups
- Proficiency in using digital platforms to maintain project websites, social media, and notification services (e.g., SMS/WhatsApp)
- Capability to respond swiftly and professionally during crisis situations, supporting urgent communication needs
- Background in media relations and PR event support
- Familiarity with monitoring and managing social media conversations related to community projects
- Experience in developing newsletters or project publications
- Strong Communications skills and experience with community engagement an important second requirement.
- 5 Years experience in either Communications or Community Engagement
- Flexibility to attend community events outside of regular hours as needed
- 4 days on site with 1 day WFH.
