Location: Offshore
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure participation and presence for topside XMT/Wellhead/Downhole Equipment testing and EFAT programs at suppliers.
- Act as Completion focal point with regards to intervention and D&W related to package/equipment delivery, scoping, inspection and testing.
- Ensure schedule and planning are aligned with overall project schedule.
- Provide guidance and direction related to Hook-Up and Commissioning SIMOPS in Well Bay area.
- Ensure participation and presence at WHCP, HPU and TUTU FAT testing and Site testing.
- Responsible for planning and execution of Offshore Hook Up and Commissioning of Wellhead and XMTs.
- Ensure Offshore MTO required for seamless XMT Hook Up & Commissioning offshore.
- Monitor & Follow Up of mechanical completion and testing of XMT & Wellhead D&W CPIs.
- Facilitation in PIMS CMS for client's CPI dataflow and scoping.
- Responsible for Offshore HU&C of XMT with respect to planning, procurement, relevant ATS, stakeholder management, etc.
- Accountable for PIMS PES planning and set-up for Offshore XMT/Wellhead Hook-Up.
- Responsible for WHCP and HPU equipment status and follow-up towards site-testing.
- Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, cost estimates associated with the commissioning scope to the XMT Hook Up & Commissioning Team to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve client's expectations.
- Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensure sufficient manning according to project needs.
- When required, act as the site Commissioning Authority during the commissioning phases.
- Contribute to ensuring that completions and commissioning requirements of all client’s projects is carried out safely and efficiently by FFA and ensure they meet all client's project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
- Contribute to implementing the commissioning certification and handover process according to Project Completion Strategy.
- Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimates associated with the scope for XMT installation and Commissioning.
- Manage contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for XMT, WHCP and HPU System Commissioning.
- Provide leadership and direction to the XMT Hook Up & Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate Commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:
- Witness contractor/supplier tests as necessary (FAT/SAT).
- Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.
- Implement the commissioning scope.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
- As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet client’s expectations.
- Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary.
Qualifications
- BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience from operations is of great benefit.
