Position Summary:
The Construction Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale stadium and sports facility projects with significant heavy civil components. This role is responsible for managing complex construction activities including earthwork, foundations, structural concrete, steel erection, utilities, and site infrastructure while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate has direct experience managing multi-hundred-million-dollar projects and coordinating multiple trade partners in highly visible, fast-paced construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of stadium construction projects from mobilization through substantial completion and turnover
- Oversee heavy civil scopes including mass excavation, deep foundations, piling, structural concrete, utilities, roadways, and site development
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, sequencing plans, and phasing strategies aligned with milestone commitments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and key stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and cash flow
- Review and approve subcontractor pay applications, change orders, and claims
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and permitting conditions
- Identify and mitigate schedule and cost risks through proactive planning and field coordination
- Lead coordination among superintendents, field engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Oversee constructability reviews, logistics planning, crane plans, and site access strategies
- Coordinate complex interfaces between structural, MEP, architectural, and specialty trades
- Champion a strong safety culture in compliance with OSHA, site-specific, and owner safety standards
- Ensure quality control processes are implemented and inspections are completed per project requirements
- Manage environmental compliance, erosion control, and site safety programs
- Support coordination with municipal agencies, utilities, and inspectors
- Manage work in high-visibility, publicly scrutinized environments with strict schedule and community constraints
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of construction management experience with at least 5 years on large-scale heavy civil or stadium/arena projects
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects valued at $100MM+
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, sequencing, and logistics
- Knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, or similar project controls tools
- Direct experience on professional or collegiate stadium, arena, or large sports/entertainment venue projects
- Experience with deep foundations, cast-in-place concrete, precast, and structural steel systems
- Experience working with public agencies, unions, and large EPC or CM-at-Risk delivery models
- PMP or CCM certification preferred
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management
- Strong decision-making under schedule and cost pressure
- Ability to lead teams through complex, high-risk construction environments
