Construction Manager II
Rate: $73 - $83
Location: Cameron Parish, Louisiana
Duration: 6 months + (extension likely)

Position Summary The Construction Manager II leads and manages construction activities across both office and field environments for large-scale industrial projects. This role ensures execution aligns with safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives while overseeing field teams, subcontractors, and construction delivery from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead construction management activities across home office and project sites
  • Develop and implement construction execution plans and related project deliverables
  • Prepare and manage construction strategies, including safety, quality, constructability, scheduling, subcontracting, and materials control
  • Coordinate construction requirements with engineering, procurement, and project teams
  • Oversee field execution, ensuring work meets safety, quality, and schedule expectations
  • Supervise site teams and subcontractors, including planning, manpower, equipment, and sequencing
  • Monitor progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Review engineering drawings and resolve field construction issues
  • Ensure readiness for construction activities and manage changes or extra work orders
  • Conduct site inspections, attend HSE meetings, and enforce safety and quality standards
  • Prepare and review progress reports and construction performance metrics
  • Provide leadership and direction to construction supervisors and field personnel
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction
  • Experience as a construction superintendent or similar leadership role on large-scale projects
  • Strong background in field execution, subcontractor management, and construction planning
