Job Purpose/Description
Carry out planning and scheduling functions in accordance with project standards and procedures. Job responsibilities are related to the Project Team and include analysis and evaluation of proposed impacts to the overall construction, commissioning, start-up and operational readiness schedules.

Job Purpose/Description
Carry out planning and scheduling functions in accordance with project standards and procedures. Job responsibilities are related to the Project Team and include analysis and evaluation of proposed impacts to the overall construction, commissioning, start-up and operational readiness schedules.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Build, develop, and continually review the project control system, including planning, scheduling, reporting, and monitoring.
- Plan and provide work direction as required for the preparation of planning and scheduling control systems and other practices to provide management with a means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of work execution.
- Provide guidance to Construction Managers in areas of planning and scheduling expertise by analysing and evaluating all pertinent data.
- Work closely with the Commissioning Team to assist with review of the commissioning schedule, ensuring alignment from construction through operational readiness and ultimately full operations.
- Discuss, coordinate, and resolve long and short-term planning and scheduling challenges associated with operations with personnel throughout the organisation. Act as a technical consultant when required.
- Evaluate and validate planning and progress information collected from the Construction Team and advise management of deviations from plan, potential corrective actions, and impacts to the project or site.
- Participate in construction schedule risk analysis where required.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness and appropriateness of planning and scheduling information collected from the Construction Planning Team. Highlight significant exceptions and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide construction input to consolidated progress reports and schedules for the facility.
- Capture lessons learned during project execution and incorporate them into regular reporting to support continuous improvement.
- Build, develop, and continually review a suite of schedules and reports for the operating facility, updating and improving them as opportunities arise.
- Present schedules, plans, forecasts, and reports as required.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial operations.
- Over 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
- Large-scale or mega project experience.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 software.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
