Consultant, SPTS pipe tracking system  
 
Contract period: 31.08.2026 - 30.08.2027
Location: Stavanger

Main tasks:
  • Develop and implement SPTS software and integrity management programs for subsea assets, including inspection, repair, and operation activities. 
  • Conduct detailed engineering analyses and simulations to optimise the performance and reliability of subsea systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost optimisation. 
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to vendors, projects and operation. 
  • Participate in the development of new processes and technologies to reduce costs and improve the efficiency of oil and gas processing. 
  • Ensure technical integrity and high production efficiency of the subsea production systems. 
  • Provide and develop services to investment projects, modification projects and in Lifecycle view.
  • Global service provider for subsea technology services.
  • Inventory control of pipeline and subsea equipment. 
  • You are utilising your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk.  
  • You address key business challenges that align with Company's short and long-term strategy via providing specialist support to your team and others.  
  • You independently communicate within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties.  
  • You regularly navigate conflicting agendas and may lead negotiations with senior stakeholders.  
  • You resolve challenges, deliver improvements, and contribute to shaping best practices.  
  • You promote change initiatives, demonstrate flexibility to adopt new highly complex activities/ways of working and advice others.  
  • You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values. 

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of fabrication of pipe systems and material trace-ability.  
  • Knowledge of pipe production and subsea components. 
  • Ability to process data in Excel.
  • Knowledge of database/web-based systems.
  • Knowledge of document control/LCI (Life Cycle Information). 
  • Knowledge of pipeline installation. 
  • Knowledge of project logistics.
