Job Title: Contract Conformance Specialist
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: $60-$65 per hour

Position Overview
The Contract Conformance Specialist IV provides senior-level support in supply chain contract management, handling complex agreements from drafting through execution. This role ensures contracts align with organizational policies, business objectives, and risk tolerance, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver compliant and efficient contracting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate moderately complex contracts, including service, consulting, and engineering agreements
  • Evaluate supplier contract terms and facilitate negotiations within established risk parameters
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (supply chain, legal, and business teams) to resolve contractual issues and align positions
  • Review and respond to contract redlines using approved standards, templates, and guidelines
  • Provide guidance on contract types and support sourcing and procurement activities
  • Ensure timely contract execution and transition finalized agreements for purchase order or master agreement processing
  • Maintain accurate contract records and lifecycle documentation in internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Escalate high-risk or non-standard contractual issues as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain, contract management, or related industry (energy sector experience preferred)
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements
  • Strong understanding of contract law principles and risk management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, SharePoint)

Preferred
  • Professional certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., ISM, PMAC)
