The Contracts Lead will provide specialist expertise in developing, supporting, and executing complex, high-value EPC contracts for the North Field Production & Sustainability (NFPS) project. You’ll drive tendering strategy, evaluate risk, ensure compliance with standards, and steward contract administration through execution to close-out. Key Responsibilities

- Working Hours: 8–10 hours/day
- Working Days: 6 days/week (26 days/month)
- Leave Rotation: 12 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off
The Contracts Lead will provide specialist expertise in developing, supporting, and executing complex, high-value EPC contracts for the North Field Production & Sustainability (NFPS) project. You’ll drive tendering strategy, evaluate risk, ensure compliance with standards, and steward contract administration through execution to close-out. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of tender packages and coordinate end-to-end tendering with Supply Chain and PMT.
- Conduct engineering/technical/commercial reviews of SOWs to identify and mitigate contractual and execution risks.
- Evaluate technical bids for complex/high-value services; recommend award strategies; establish robust contracts.
- Embed latest financial, technical, and SHEQ requirements into all contracting documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance across scopes, commercial terms, and regulatory/corporate standards.
- Participate in contract audits, rectify findings, and maintain conformance with procedures.
- Steward EPC Contractor contract administration—clarifications, correspondence, milestones, warranties, payments.
- Draft and issue contractual responses to EPC contractor on claims, changes, and commercial matters.
- Drive contract close-out: validate obligations, deliverables, invoices, warranties, and resolve outstanding claims.
- Proactively avoid claims by closing claim-oriented correspondence on time and maintaining clear documentation.
- Navigate complex tender/contract documents; deliver clear, commercially sound recommendations under time pressure.
- Understand key project drivers to ensure on-time awards and execution in a high-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- 8+ years in a business/commercial function; 4+ years in Oil & Gas; 1+ year in a supervisory/acting lead or vendor oversight role.
- Preferred: Experience handling reimbursable procurement for major EPC contracts.
- Strong command of contract law basics, T&Cs, change management, claims avoidance, and contract close-out.
- Skilled in risk assessment, commercial analysis, cost models, milestones, and performance security (bonds/LDs/warranties).
- Excellent written communication for correspondence, clarifications, and position papers.
