Control Engineer (Offshore Wind) – 2/2 Rotation – Netherlands Contract: March–December 2026

Location: Rijswijk (Netherlands) + occasional offshore travel

A major offshore wind project in the Netherlands is entering its commissioning phase in 2026, and we are looking for an experienced Control Engineer / Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join the team. This is a crucial role in ensuring safe, compliant and effective commissioning of all electrical and control systems across the wind farm, from onshore preparations to offshore energisation activities

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong background as a Control Engineer and SAP, including HV/LV switching experience. 
  • Solid understanding of electrical networks and control & protection systems.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with offshore wind commissioning or operations experience. 
  • Fluent English and strong stakeholder communication skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, international team.
  • Proficient in MS Office. 
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of Dutch electrical standards NEN 3140 (LV) and NEN 3840 (HV)
  • Experience with large‑scale SCADA systems in offshore wind environments.
