The Cost Control Lead provides expert guidance on cost management—including estimating, forecasting, reporting, allocation, planning, and stewardship of project expenditures. This role also assesses financial risks, develops procedures, and supports the CO₂ Sequestration Project with high‑level analytical and advisory capabilities. Job Context & Major Challenges

- Working Hours: 8–10 hours/day
- Working Days: 6 days/week (26 days/month)
- Leave Rotation: 12 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off
The Cost Control Lead provides expert guidance on cost management—including estimating, forecasting, reporting, allocation, planning, and stewardship of project expenditures. This role also assesses financial risks, develops procedures, and supports the CO₂ Sequestration Project with high‑level analytical and advisory capabilities. Job Context & Major Challenges
- Develops detailed cost planning models, project cost estimates, analyses, and reports.
- Recommends process improvements to align with specialized business requirements.
- Ensures consistent, accurate financial control across multidisciplinary project environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Law, Communications, Technology, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- 8 years in business‑related functions, including 4 years in Oil & Gas.
- Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role (contractor/vendor management).
- Experience with Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, vendors, or service companies.
- Strong knowledge in:
✓ Cost control
✓ Estimating
✓ Planning & scheduling
✓ Risk & change management
✓ Procurement & contract management
✓ Data analytics & reporting - Proficiency in software: dashboards, financial tools, SAP, analytics systems.
- Experience supporting large‑scale operational and project organizations.
- SME-level expertise within the candidate’s specific discipline.
