This position will start as a 1–2 year contract, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role subject to performance and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Country Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance operations for two legal entities in Thailand. This is an individual contributor role, where you will independently manage end-to-end finance activities while acting as the key finance representative in the country.
You will collaborate closely with regional and cross-functional teams across APAC while maintaining full ownership of local finance operations.

Financial Operations & Accounting
  • Manage full-set accounting and maintain financial records in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
  • Oversee the end-to-end purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles, including month-end close and financial reporting
  • Execute weekly payment runs, including coordination with local banks when required
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial closing and reporting to headquarters
  • Monitor and prepare operational cash flow forecasts
  • Support project-related financial analysis and provide relevant data to stakeholders
  • Partner with stakeholders on CAPEX and OPEX planning
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely transaction recording
  • Prepare and submit group financial reports for quarterly consolidation
  • Ensure compliance with internal finance policies and governance standards
Audit & Tax Compliance
  • Independently lead the statutory audit process end-to-end, including planning, coordination, and completion
  • Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, including preparation and submission of VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and other required filings
  • Review prior filings where necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage BOI reporting and audits related to tax incentives and exemptions
Projects & Ad Hoc
  • Collaborate with regional finance, accounting, and tax teams on ongoing deliverables
  • Contribute to regional finance initiatives and process improvements
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required
Education & Experience
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional qualification (e.g., CPA) is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, ideally within professional services or multinational environments
  • Strong hands-on experience managing full-set accounts independently
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of IFRS, local accounting standards, and tax regulations
  • Exposure to the renewable energy sector is a plus
