C–Safety Coordinator
Location: Baytown, TX
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: 7x12s, max 13‑hour shifts; 1 fatigue day every 14 days
Requirements: Valid TWIC (with password); completion of required safety council training
Rate: $45 per hour
Position Summary
The C‑Safety Coordinator supports turnaround safety operations by implementing safety procedures, conducting field audits, verifying training compliance, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across a large industrial project site.

Position Summary
The C‑Safety Coordinator supports turnaround safety operations by implementing safety procedures, conducting field audits, verifying training compliance, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across a large industrial project site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily safety meetings and verify turnaround safety processes.
- Review and track required safety training and certifications.
- Conduct onsite inspections, identify hazards, and perform housekeeping audits.
- Support incident and near‑miss investigations and verify corrective actions.
- Ensure contractor compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Participate in safety observations, audits, and site walkdowns.
- Provide coaching and guidance regarding safety policies and best practices.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of safety coordination experience within refinery or petrochemical environments.
- Degree in Health & Safety or related field; CSP preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, NFPA, NEC, CGA, and related safety standards.
- Experience in auditing, safety coaching, training, and incident investigations.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and follow‑up skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work extended turnaround shifts with a positive safety attitude.
