Civil Designer – Combined Services Routes
Location: Brisbane, QLD

The opportunity
A well-established engineering and infrastructure consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil Designer to support the delivery of transport and combined services route (CSR) projects across South East Queensland.
This role offers the chance to join a large, capable project team working on technically engaging infrastructure assignments, with a strong focus on practical, high‑quality delivery. It’s well suited to a designer who is confident working within defined timeframes and contributing from day one.

This role offers the chance to join a large, capable project team working on technically engaging infrastructure assignments, with a strong focus on practical, high‑quality delivery. It’s well suited to a designer who is confident working within defined timeframes and contributing from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver civil design outputs for combined services routes and transport infrastructure projects
- Produce 12d models, 2D drawings, and construction documentation
- Prepare material take‑offs and assist with detailed design development
- Work closely with civil engineers, lead designers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure designs meet relevant authority, technical, and quality standards
- Contribute to quality assurance and timely project delivery
- Maintain strong safety awareness across all design activities
About you
You’re an experienced civil designer who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and taking ownership of design deliverables.
You will ideally bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a civil design role
- Proficiency in 12d Model and AutoCAD
- Exposure to transport infrastructure or combined services route projects
- An Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Queensland road or rail authority standards (e.g. TMR)
- Strong communication skills and solid general computer literacy
- Experience with OpenRoads or Civil 3D will be viewed favourably.
