Location: Houston, Texas
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: $70-$75/hr
Position Overview
The Data Analyst II – Supply Chain Data & Reporting role supports the organization by developing KPI dashboards, optimizing reporting processes, and ensuring high‑quality data governance across SAP and Power BI ecosystems. This position plays a key role in transforming raw supply chain data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, process improvement, and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
KPI Dashboard Development & Maintenance
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of supply chain KPI dashboards using Power BI.
  • Extract, validate, and transform SAP MM data (tables, reports, transactional data) to meet reporting requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all data sources used for KPI reporting.
Process Improvement
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline data extraction, transformation, and reporting workflows.
  • Contribute to improving processes and procedures that support ongoing KPI reporting.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles—Lean Six Sigma experience is beneficial.
Procedure Writing & Documentation
  • Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and training materials for KPI dashboards and related supply chain processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate data accuracy.
  • Develop dashboards that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide training and support to users of the KPI dashboard and associated tools.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in a supply chain-focused role with strong emphasis on data analysis and process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (data visualization & reporting).
  • Proficiency in SAP MM, including table navigation (e.g., MARA, MARC, MSEG, EKKO, EKPO), data extraction, and report generation.
  • Experience as a contract specialist, with an understanding of contract management principles.
  • Inventory management experience strongly preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience writing SOPs and process documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
