Job Title: Data Analyst II (Administrative / Trade Compliance)
Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
Location: Spring, Texas
Rate: $41-$47 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst II to support administrative and trade compliance-related data initiatives. This role is responsible for importing, cleansing, validating, analyzing, and presenting data to support business decision-making and compliance processes. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to data quality, and the ability to collaborate across functions while working with moderate supervision.
This position is well-suited for a senior-level analyst with prior experience managing complex datasets, identifying trends and risks, and contributing to process improvement efforts. The role may also include mentoring or providing guidance to junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Import, cleanse, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identify trends, patterns, correlations, and potential risks within complex data sets
  • Prepare and present data insights through reports, dashboards, charts, and tables
  • Support trade compliance screening activities by performing preliminary data checks on third parties
  • Upload, organize, and maintain trade compliance documentation (e.g., Certificates of Origin, End-User Certificates) in internal databases and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, SAP-based tools)
  • Improve data quality by identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to support organizational goals
  • Provide training, guidance, or mentoring to junior analysts as needed
  • Ensure data handling aligns with internal policies, confidentiality requirements, and compliance standards

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Significant prior experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including report generation and data analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with databases, document repositories, or enterprise systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting trade compliance, logistics, supply chain, or regulatory functions
  • Familiarity with document management tools such as SharePoint and SAP-based systems
  • Prior experience improving data governance or data quality processes
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders
