Required Expertise (Top Priorities)
- Advanced WellView experience: Ability to maintain data quality, perform well history reviews, manage wellbore schematics, and support WellView data integrity.
- Advanced Power BI experience: Ability to create, update, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards in Power BI Desktop, transforming operational data into actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
- Gather, QC, and analyze data from various sources to enable improved analytics and insight generation.
- Maintain WellView data quality, well history records, and wellbore schematics.
- Perform requirements definition and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Develop, update, and sustain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
- Support development, testing, analysis, and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Assist with delivery of analytics solutions that predict, automate, and optimize business decisions.
- Maintain documentation for data processes, models, reports, and analyses to ensure consistency and stewardship of delivered solutions.
- Provide engineering and operational support as needed.
- Advanced WellView skills (required).
- Advanced Power BI skills including creating, updating, and maintaining dashboards in Power BI Desktop (required).
- Oil & Gas industry knowledge, preferably in workover and/or drilling operations.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, operations, and field teams.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing historical well data.
- Snowflake experience.
- Kepler experience.
- Databricks experience.
