Located in the Port of Rotterdam (Netherlands), this project is a flagship Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project developing collective infrastructure to transport industrial CO2 for permanent storage in depleted North Sea gas fields. As a European Project of Common Interest (PCI), it represents a critical milestone for large-scale industrial decarbonization and net-zero alignment.
The DCS Supervisor ensures system readiness by validating control loops, alarm configurations, and safety logics, while safely coordinating live commissioning sequences and managing temporary overrides with field teams.
Goals and deliverables
During the project commissioning phase, the DCS Supervisor ensures system readiness and safe initial operations of the CO2 transport infrastructure. They oversee loop testing, alarm rationalization, and cause-and-effect validation while coordinating live startup sequences and temporary safety overrides with field teams.
Key Objectives & Expected Deliverables:
System Integrity:
We reserve the right to apply a range of objective criteria for the evaluation and selection of quotations, such as, but not limited to, the principle of Total Cost of Ownership, delivery times in relation to project requirements, technical, commercial, contractual/legal, and other risks, potential past experience of cooperation with the bidder, et al., without being obliged to simply accept the quotation indicating the lowest price. Our final selection may be made on the basis of a short list of bidders pre-selected as a result of the initial evaluation of all quotations obtained by any bidders.
