. Work closely with internal teams and clients to manage design scope, expectations, and variations throughout the project lifecycle
. Coordinate engineering design documentation, drawings, and deliverables in line with agreed schedules and project registers
. Assist in managing RFIs and technical queries, contributing to discussions around potential project impacts and solutions
. Contribute to project governance, risk, and quality management processes to ensure consistent and compliant design delivery
. Participate in feasibility and early-phase project activities, supporting innovative and value-driven design outcomes
. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure smooth design handover, as-built documentation, and project close-out
. Coordinate and participate in design reviews, including Safety in Design processes.
Essential criteria and experience required:
· Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, with electrical being preferred
. Previous experience in working within electrical infrastructure, utilities, resources, mining, or renewable energy projects
. Exposure to EPC project environments and the full engineering design lifecycle
. Proven expertise to work within and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams with confidence
. Working knowledge of Australian engineering standards
. Strong communication skills and possess the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
. Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities at once
. Engineering qualifications would be an advantage (RPEQ, RPEV, CPEng).
Benefits
. Salary up to $150,000 + Superannuation
. Flexible Working Arrangements
