Role Summary
The primary focus of this role is to provide drawing control support for internal and external stakeholders, this includes support services navigating and working in the drawing management system, managing access and control, and providing drawing management system training. The role will also ensure that process safety information - in the form of engineering drawings - is complete and easily accessible to all users of Liquid Pipelines (LP) drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drawing System Support — Provide user assistance, manage access, create workspaces, and support navigation within the drawing management system.

  • Drawing Quality & Integrity — Resolve hybrid drawing issues, update outdated PDFs, correct metadata discrepancies, and maintain alignment between master drawings and renditions.

  • As‑built & Project Coordination — Integrate approved as‑built updates, publish final drawings, and track drawing status throughout design, IFC, and turnover phases.

  • Request Management — Coordinate and fulfill drawing requests through BIM JIRA and service request tools.

  • Compliance & Review — Support major project reviews, SME reviews, and drawing control checks to ensure adherence to drawing system requirements.

  • Training & Documentation — Develop and deliver training for internal and external users; create procedures, communications, and materials that support efficient access to process safety information.

  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement — Monitor KPIs, generate standard reports, and contribute to process improvements.

Working Relationships
  • Collaborate with Asset Information Management teams for operational alignment.

  • Partner with project teams, engineering service providers, vendors, drafting providers, operations, and maintenance groups to ensure compliance with drawing control procedures.

  • Support Facility & Pipeline Drawings, Process Safety Information, and Facility Records teams to maintain shared objectives.

Qualifications Required
  • Degree or technical diploma, or equivalent technical training and drawing control experience.

  • 2–4 years in document or records management (engineering or construction preferred).

  • Training or education in business analysis, records management, data analysis, or project management.

  • Knowledge of process safety information requirements and document management workflows.

  • Strong customer service, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Basic knowledge of drawing management systems, EDMSLink, BIM‑JIRA, MS Access, and Excel.

Preferred
  • Basic drafting skills and experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and Bluebeam.
