Job Title: Documentation Support Specialist

Duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $18–$20 per hour
Position Summary
The Documentation Support Specialist provides administrative and document management support to the documentation team at the Lufkin, TX site. This role is responsible for scanning, organizing, and maintaining both physical and electronic documentation, entering data into company systems, and assisting documentation specialists in assembling accurate document packages for customer delivery. Accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are essential, as documents produced in this role are shared with customers.

Position Summary
The Documentation Support Specialist provides administrative and document management support to the documentation team at the Lufkin, TX site. This role is responsible for scanning, organizing, and maintaining both physical and electronic documentation, entering data into company systems, and assisting documentation specialists in assembling accurate document packages for customer delivery. Accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are essential, as documents produced in this role are shared with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan, organize, and maintain physical and electronic documentation in accordance with company standards and document retention guidelines
- Perform accurate data entry into the company’s ERP system (Oracle); training will be provided
- Organize, manage, and edit PDF files using basic PDF tools such as Kofax or Adobe Acrobat
- Maintain alignment between physical document files and corresponding electronic records
- Assemble documentation packets to support documentation specialists with customer deliverables
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant, prioritizing quality over speed
- Collaborate closely with another team member in the same role and participate in on-the-job training
- Follow established filing, indexing, and documentation procedures
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in document control, document organization, or administrative support
- Experience scanning, indexing, and maintaining documents
- Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision after training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to document accuracy
- Dependable, organized, and accountable work style
- English proficiency
