Drilling Supervisor / Senior Drilling Supervisor Lead Location: Northeast British Columbia (Wonowon to Pink Mountain, Montney Region)
Schedule: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off Rotation
We are seeking experienced Drilling Supervisors and Senior Drilling Supervisor Leads to oversee drilling operations within a multi-rig Montney development program located in Northeast British Columbia. The successful candidates will provide leadership and operational oversight to ensure wells are drilled safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while meeting all regulatory and company requirements. Candidates should have previous experience supervising operations on Triple A drilling rigs, preferably within Montney drilling programs

We are seeking experienced Drilling Supervisors and Senior Drilling Supervisor Leads to oversee drilling operations within a multi-rig Montney development program located in Northeast British Columbia. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all day-to-day drilling operations to ensure activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drilling programs and company standards.
- Provide continuous operational oversight and leadership across a two-rig drilling program while working a 14/14 rotational schedule.
- Monitor drilling performance, identify operational risks, and implement solutions to optimize safety, operational efficiency, well delivery timelines, and overall well costs.
- Manage drilling expenditures against approved AFEs and budget forecasts, providing accurate cost tracking, reporting, and recommendations for cost reduction opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and timely operational records, including daily reports and detailed WellView data entry.
- Coordinate HSE permitting requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.
- Lead daily safety meetings, pre-tour meetings, operational reviews, and incident investigations to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
- Mentor, coach, and support drilling contractors, rig personnel, and service providers to enhance overall operational performance.
- Provide detailed daily operational updates to Drilling Management, Operations Teams, and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, non-productive time, and upcoming activities.
- Serve as the primary field representative for drilling operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between field and office teams.
- Extensive experience supervising drilling operations within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of horizontal drilling operations, well construction, and drilling best practices.
- Experience managing drilling programs in the Montney or similar unconventional resource plays is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with WellView reporting systems.
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage costs, schedules, contractors, and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environment.
