Key Responsibilities
  • Provide active HSE leadership at all times.
  • Actively monitor and direct operations, including:
    • HSE compliance and well control.
    • Planning and preparation for upcoming operations.
    • Issuing clear instructions to rig contractors based on company standards and drilling program.
    • Communicating effectively with contractors on and off site.
    • Observing and reacting to changes in downhole trends.
    • Ensuring adequate reporting and adherence to good oilfield practices.
  • Mentor and support the development of local staff.
  • Monitor service providers through formal audits and inspections to promote good HSE and oilfield practices.
Criteria & Qualifications
  • 15+ years of drilling and workover experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior Well Site Leader role.
  • Proficient in safe working practices and oilfield best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead drilling and workover operations through both theoretical and practical approaches.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures.
  • Valid Well Control Certification (Level 4 Surface, IWCF or IADC).
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities in HSE and operations, along with strong mentoring skills.
