Job Title: Dual Ticket Electrical & Instrumentation (E/I) Technician
Location: Edmonton, AB – Fort Saskatchewan Area
Length: 1-year contract (high likelihood of extension based on performance)
Rotation: Day-to-day onsite maintenance; on-call requirements as needed
Description:
Our client is seeking 2 Dual Ticket Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to support a maintenance activity in their facility. The successful candidates will perform routine and corrective maintenance across the site and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Candidates with experience at facilities similar to Shell, Suncor, MCC environments, or cavern operations—are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Perform daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities at the facility
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial E/I systems and equipment
- Support operational integrity, reliability, and safety programs
- Respond to on-call requirements as needed
- Complete documentation, work orders, and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Valid Dual Ticket (Electrician & Instrumentation Technician)
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant E/I experience in oil & gas, midstream, or similar industrial operations
- MCC and cavern maintenance experience considered a strong asset
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
- Candidates must be local to Edmonton/Redwater—no LOA, flights, or accommodations provided
- Personal truck available for site use is strongly preferred (must carry $2M vehicle insurance)
