Job Summary The Electrical Assembler will build, wire, and assemble control panels and skid-mounted electrical systems. This role involves interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to produce high-quality, reliable assemblies that meet industry and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and skid-mounted systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings
  • Install components such as breakers, relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, power supplies, and instrumentation devices
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, labeling, and termination according to standards
  • Verify work against drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and quality checklists
  • Conduct basic electrical testing and continuity checks on completed assemblies
  • Ensure compliance with UL, NEC, and company quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve build or design issues
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Support skid integration work including interconnecting wiring between panels and field devices
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or industrial electrical work
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with control panels, industrial automation, or power generation systems preferred
  • Familiarity with PLC-based control systems a plus
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety practices

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Standing, bending, and working in manufacturing/shop environments for extended periods
  • Use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing/shop floor environment (climate controlled)
