SUMMARY: In this role, the employee leads a small team of 3-4 individuals to accomplish dynamic goals and objectives on a day-to-day basis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinates with Electrical Supervisor to develop weekly production plans
  • Reads and interprets diagrams and schematics that guide in the installation of electrical componentry.
  • Works hands-on to install mechanical and electrical components and related wiring. This includes wiring of 480V 3PH motors, pressure and temperature transmitters, control cabinets, control valves, etc.
  • Works in coordination with Electrical Supervisor to manage the daily operations of assigned employee(s) in accordance with production plan, assuring overall quality, productivity, and policy / contract adherence.
  • Achieves required safety, quality, delivery, and performance levels.
  • Manages team’s dedicated set of hand/power tools and assembly consumables
  • Supports employee(s) by answering questions and assisting where needed.
  • Support the development and training of staff.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and sets a good example for those under and around them.
  • Provides feedback on direct reports to supervisor/manager.
  • Owns customer satisfaction with everything under your direction.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Able to perform all duties and responsibilities of direct reports


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems; escalating problems up the chain of command when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years’ experience or related experience.
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Able to work with teams and communicate clearly with team leaders and team members.
  • Acknowledges that learning and growth are keys to personal and professional success and is willing and able to share with others.
  • Takes pride in doing good work, have a positive attitude, and believe guest satisfaction comes first
