NES Fircroft are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Superintendent to lead commissioning of high‑voltage electric charging systems for electric mining trucks. You will oversee safe energisation, testing, and integration of chargers, load management systems, protection systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.

Benefits:
- Roster: 2/1 roster
- Contract: 12 months (5yrs + Worth of work in the pipeline, high likelihood of extension for the right candidate)
- Rate: $110 - $145/hr + super pending experience
- Hours: 12hrs per day
- Other Benefits: Fortnightly pay, EAP contractor support, dedicated NES Fircroft consultant
- Strong background in HV electrical commissioning, ideally with EV or high‑power charging systems.
- Experience leading commissioning teams in complex industrial or mining environments.
- Experience with Ignition and Monarch control systems
- Electrical Trade Certificate or Electrical Engineering degree
- S26 or in progress of obtaining
- Experience managing up to a team of 10
- Lead and plan commissioning activities for electric haul‑truck charging systems.
- Manage commissioning resources, vendors, and specialist personnel.
- Oversee ITR/CVC reviews and documentation required for energisation.
- Conduct onsite testing of charger control systems, SCADA, load management, and network integration.
- Ensure HV protection systems meet compliance and performance requirements.
- Lead safe energisation, isolation planning, and permit‑to‑work processes.
- Coordinate handover with construction and operations, including CCC and RFSU/RFC milestones.
- Manage punch lists, reporting, and change control throughout commissioning.
