Electrical Compliance Inspector – Solar & Battery

Salary & Benefits
• Base salary up to: $127,500
• Overtime allowance up to: $19,942
• Location allowance: $12,905
• Housing allowance: $32,681
• Plus 13.5% superannuation: approx. $26,058
• Relocation assistance available for full family
• Fully equipped work vehicle (Starlink, iPad, iPhone)
• 37.5‑hour week + 320 hours pre‑paid overtime annually
• Days in lieu for weekend work
• Permanent role based in Esperance with regional and remote travel
• Extensive training (checking & testing, fire/shock investigation, specialist modules)
• Weekly team meetings and strong peer support
• Accommodation provided during Perth induction if relocating
About You
• WA‑licensed electrician with strong solar and battery installation experience
• Competent in checking and testing to AS 3000
• Personable, customer‑focused, and confident engaging with contractors and community members
• Comfortable travelling regularly, including to remote regional communities
• Able to obtain a clean National Police Check and complete a Building & Energy EW number review
The Job Role
• Take on a newly created regional inspector role supporting the Esperance area
• Conduct solar, battery, and general electrical compliance inspections across towns and remote communities
• Receive extensive training and mentoring, with a pathway to full inspector competency over ~2 years
• Work from the Esperance depot with regular travel, including Norseman and occasional multi‑day trips
• Play a key role in ensuring safe electrical installations and supporting the transition to renewable energy
