Position- Electrical Engineer
Location - Dubai ,UAE 
Start Date - ASAP
Duration - 12 Months Renewable Contract 

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure electrical engineering designs comply with international standards, codes, and company specifications
• Review and validate electrical discipline deliverables and interface documentation
• Provide timely and quality technical feedback on engineering documents
• Participate in tender evaluations, bidder clarifications, and discipline-related assessments
• Maintain and update electrical design concepts throughout FEED and engineering phases
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency across engineering activities
• Support technical discussions related to project interfaces and integration
• Promote safe design practices, risk analysis, and hazard management
• Review technical queries, deviations, and provide recommendations for approval
• Coordinate with internal technical experts on engineering exceptions or deviations
• Monitor contractor deliverables, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards
• Participate in HAZOP and HAZID reviews, including action tracking and closure
• Review vendor documentation and support technical issue resolution
• Attend vendor and technical meetings as required
• Contribute to cost optimisation by proposing alternative engineering solutions
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, environmental standards, and HSE requirements
• Support preparation of procurement and construction tender documentation
• Assist in project reviews and ensure implementation of review outcomes
• Provide regular progress updates, identify risks, and propose corrective actions
• Support construction, commissioning, and start-up activities including interface coordination
• Assist field operations in preparation of operational procedures

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas projects
• At least 6 years in a similar or equivalent electrical engineering role
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of international electrical standards and engineering practices
• Experience across FEED, detailed engineering, and construction phases
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering coordination
• Understanding of HSE requirements and risk management processes
• Experience supporting commissioning and start-up activities
• Fluent in English
