Electrical Engineer (BESS)

I’m currently leading the recruitment of an Electrical Engineer for a major renewable energy developer. This is a coordination-focused role acting as a technical bridge between internal teams, suppliers, EPC partners and project stakeholders.

The first assignment will be a BESS project.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preliminary technical assessments, grid availability review, production estimates, layout concepts and identification of technical risks
• Feasibility evaluations/studies
• Technical due diligence for component selection and design (modules, inverters, BESS, MV equipment)
• Reviewing supplier documentation and EPC proposals, verifying grid connection requirements
• Ensuring design compliance with standards and grid codes, and reviewing design change requests
• Supporting project execution: verifying construction against approved design, supporting commissioning (functional & performance tests), validating as‑built documentation for TSO/DSO, lenders and O&M handover

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
• ANRE II A + II B
• Fluent English
• Experience with BESS technology/design is a strong plus
